The Lattice Foyer

A marble and oak lattice floor beneath an iron scroll staircase, each diagonal band of oak scribed into the stone field by hand. The install photographs show the lattice dry-laid across the raw subfloor before a single piece was set, which is the discipline the finished glamour stands on. Done, it reads like a rug cut in stone.
