The Truss Room

Structural-scale white-oak trusses, wrapped and joined in the shop, flown into a vaulted great room and pinned with blackened iron plates. The chandelier hangs from a beam engineered to carry it. Millwork at architecture's scale: the room did not get decorated, it got built.
