Blackened oak · Calacatta Viola · brass porthole
Blackened oak paneling and a Calacatta Viola marble top meet a solid brass porthole window cut straight through the wall, giving the bar a captain's view into the wine room behind it. Glass-front cabinetry and steel rails keep the service side invisible until it is needed. The stone was slab-matched so the veining crosses the joint without a stutter.
